Cello made by Douglas Coghill in Tasmania, 2023. This instrument is based on a 7/8ths size cello made by Benjamin Banks in the 18th century. It features a wonderfull King Billy Pine top and a uniquely flamed European Maple back, sides and neck. The finish is an oil based varnish with warm amber colour. 
This cello has a sound which is deep and focused and provides and evenness of tone across its range.
