Douglas offers a full range of maintenance and restoration services, including bow rehairs, structural repairs, and precision instrument set-ups and adjustments. He is widely regarded for his skill in getting the best out of instruments through carefully calibrated sound adjustments, informed by his extensive experience as both player and luthier. All work is performed by appointment to ensure your instrument receives dedicated attention and a timely turnaround.

Basic Service Pricing Guide

Prices listed are base labor rates. Material costs (strings, parts, premium wood) are additional.

• Bow Rehairs​: $170

• All repair, services & set-ups labor only: $110 per hour (minimum fee of half hour @ $55)​​

• Outside of business hours charged at $165 per hour (minimum fee of half hour @ $82.50)
